Two Princes of Egypt
After our prayer and invitation for etheric souls to attend
our conference, I asked the group if anyone knew the story of Moses. Several
people did, so, for the benefit of the others, I gave a brief review of Moses
life up to the Exodus. I wanted to show a movie called "The Prince of
Egypt" and I explained something about the main spiritual messages given
by that film.
As the film proceeded the children became more and more
engrossed in it and they all watched it avidly till the end without falling
asleep. There was nil attention deficit syndrome. At the end they asked me to
show it again on Sunday when all the other kids will come and watch, and I
agreed.
When I downloaded the movie, I made a comment on Youtube
that this is the best characterization of Moses, better even than the biblical
accounts. I think it is a work of genius, and very probably inspired by the
Infinite Spirit. The biblical accounts never pointed out that Rameses and Moses
loved one another as brothers, but this must have been true under the
circumstances, because they grew up as fellow princes, and
otherwise Moses would never have been able to come into Rameses
presence freely and give him the message from God over and over again after he
had already killed an overseer and been condemned to death. This being so,
Moses must always have felt deep sympathy for the sufferings of Rameses and the
Egyptian people. As regards Moses, it was not his to reason why, only to do or
die. He was a simple instrument in the hands of God. He knew only that he could
use the magical stick to call forth and display the wonders of God's almighty
power. But only God knew what the wonders would be, except when Rameses uttered
curses which bounced back on him, so that the very evil he tried to inflict on
the Hebrews hit his own people instead, just like it says in that dangerous
Psalm 35. Magic as we understand it does not work, but there are acts of God
that look like magic to us but they are all founded upon higher laws or
principles of the spirit realms. For example, there is magic in faith, in
innocence, in patience and endurance, in honesty, in love, in mercy, in truth,
in beauty, in a humble and contrite heart, in gratitude, and in adoration. That
is because these qualities can draw forth spiritual power or shakti.
Another feature I liked was that Moses also depended on
other prophets to strengthen and confirm his Faith, such as his own sister, his
father-in-law, his wife and others through whom God spoke to him from deep
within their minds and hearts. And then there was Joshua, the fearless leader
who seemed to treat danger like a big joke. This shows us that one man can accomplish
nothing alone, even with God, because God works mostly through groups and
teams. He is omnipotent but not omnificent. He hardly ever acts all by Himself,
only in real cosmic emergencies. He even tells us things through other people
most of the time. (But just because He prefers to do that does not mean He
can't talk.) God Himself is more like the Captain of a football team than a
referee. He is always in action, but always as a team person, passing the ball
to others. Perhaps He is a Center Half like Beckham rather than a striker.
The main points that we can learn from all this are:
1) If
God gives you a command to do something you can be absolutely certain that He
will use His almighty power to support you, so failure is impossible.
Therefore, you must banish fear and anxiety. Whether you live or die doing it
is not an issue. Post mortem success is also possible.
2) If
you have enough Faith in God you will behold His wonders. Note that, after his
resurrection from the dead, Jesus only appeared to people who already had Faith
in him. The world always says "seeing is believing", but the Spirit
says "believing is seeing".
3) Sincerity,
sincerity and more sincerity.
4) Love
and mercy for friend and foe alike.
5) If
people refuse to listen to God enough, He will have no option left but to send
the Destroyer referred to in the Book of Wisdom. I wonder if that is the same
as the Unrevealed Sentinels. If so, you should realize that they are here again
right now, and time is running out. Something is going to hit the fan before
too long. Get ready.
These points are just as important for the etheric souls as
for us.

P.S. I forgot point number 6) See your life through heaven's

And I want to add 7) God "hardened the heart" of
Rameses so that He would have an opportunity of working such great wonders that
they would be remembered for all time. That indicates that the wicked also play
a positive role in the process of redemption by enabling us to unveil the
opposite, which is goodness. If we had never experienced evil, we would never
be able to understand goodness. But God is merciful to both good and evil
mortals if they have Faith and repent – in the sense of metanoia or 'change of heart'. That can happen now even after they
die – because of a special process arranged for our world by Father to
compensate us for the Lucifer rebellion. Every mortal is getting a second
chance now – but it is up to him to take it.
